PTA
The Chalfont St. Giles Infant School and Nursery PTA aims to support the school by fundraising and organising social events. In the school year 2006/2007 the total amount raised for the benefit of the school was nearly £22,000. This is an amazing amount for a school of this size and is thanks to all the parents, teachers, friends, family members and anyone who supported our events by buying a raffle ticket, bought some wrapping paper or some books, sponsoring the penalty shoot-out or participating in any way. The fundraising supported, amongst other things, an LSA in the school, the school photocopying bill, contributed to the fantastic new library and much more.
All parents/guardians and teachers are automatically members of the PTA. The committee is made up of willing volunteers and we are always looking for extra helpers. If you can help in any way, please contact a PTA member or put a note in the PTA box in the school entrance. The most important thing, however, is to attend events and participate in the ongoing fundraisers. All of our children benefit directly from the funds raised through PTA activities.
