Dear Parents/Friends/Guardians 31st March 2006
This is the last
newsletter before Easter. We hope you enjoyed the egg hunts and egg rolling
today! Have a restful break and we look forward to seeing you after Easter on
the 18th April (19th April for Nursery).
Cottage Conversion
We are very pleased with the work on the
cottage (I’m thinking of moving in next week!) It is looking lovely and we will
start using the Library, cooking room and
Class Assemblies
The children really enjoy performing their
class assemblies to parents and I am sure you enjoy watching them. However, we would be very grateful if you
could keep noise to a minimum during the performance and afterwards when awards
are given to children in other classes as the audiences at some assemblies have
been noticeably disruptive.
Front Door
After Easter there will be a new entry
system into the school. The outside main
doors will remain open/unlocked throughout the
day. The inner doors will be locked with
a security pad and only accessible by staff and other codeholders. If you wish to enter the school during the
day, the office staff will be pleased to help you.
Fruit
There will be no fruit delivery on Tuesday
18th April when we return to school so please send in a fruit snack
if your child needs something to eat at break time. Normal deliveries are due to start on Wednesday
19th April but may be late in the day.
Footballs
Please note that hard footballs are not to
be brought to school – we have had too many injuries due to this. If hard balls
are brought to school they will be confiscated. Also, balls are only to be used
at break times and lunch times not before
or after school – there are too many adults and young children around for this
to be safe practice. Balls will also be confiscated at this time.
