Dear Parents/Friends/Guardians 17th March
2006
Evaluate Survey
We had a great
response from the on-line survey and will be informing you in detail of the
results at a later date. At present, the main findings were;
·
The
school is run very well
·
The
organisation of pupil care and involvement is good.
·
The
children are most pleased with our resources and the learning environment
There are a couple of areas that need further development and we will
be addressing these during the summer term with Governors and staff.
Thank you
Thank you to Sophie Thompson and Bethany
White for planting flowers in our tubs at the entrance to the main school. This
was part of their Baden Powell badge award and we are very pleased with the
result!
Easter Service – 28th March
We welcome Nursery
PM children attending the Church Services but would
just like to remind you that they need to wear school uniform if they are
participating in the service.
Nursery Climbing Frame
A polite request to remind parents not to allow their children to play on the nursery climbing frame at any time. Thank you.
ROH Visit
Y2 thoroughly enjoyed the performance of
‘Romeo & Juliet’ at the Royal Opera House in

Waiting for the
performance to start!

Discussing the
ballet during the interval

Watching musicians at Covent Garden
Tissues
As you can
imagine, we get through quite a lot of tissues in the school! We would be very grateful, therefore, if you
could donate a box to your class for the children to use. Thank you.
Sickness
A
reminder that children who experience sickness or diarrhoea should not return
to school within 24 hours of the last episode. This is to prevent infections
spreading. Thank you for your
co-operation.
After School Clubs/Activities
Please could we
remind parents that if your child is involved in an activity after school it is
your responsibility to get the child changed, not the teachers. If you are
unable to be present you need to liaise with another parent who can supervise
your child for you. We only use reputable ‘suppliers’ for activities and we
ensure that they are all CRB checked. Please note the following information:
Yogabugs
Club
The Yogabugs club starts again on 24th April for ten
weeks at a cost of £50. There are some
places available. If your child would
like to participate, please contact the office for an application form.
End of Term
A reminder that the
last day of term for Nursery children is Wednesday 29th March and
for Infant School children pickup is at 2pm
on Friday 31st March.
