Dear Parents/Friends/Guardians                            12th May 2006

Reports

End of Year Reports for KS1 will be sent home this year on Friday 7th July. Reports for the Foundation Stage follow a different procedure and need to be sent to the LEA, therefore the reports for the Foundation Stage will be sent home on Friday 13th July.

Guitars

A reminder to parents of children who are learning to play the guitar on Fridays that you need to pick up your child’s guitar from the Memorial Hall at the end of the day.  If we find any guitars left behind, we will put them with the Lost Property but regret we cannot guarantee to check every week.

PTA Lottery

Jenny Murray would like to remind those who haven’t paid for their Lottery number that their money is due (you know who you are!!), and there are also three lines available for anyone who wishes to participate.

Maypole Dancing

Well done to all the Year 2 pupils for taking part in the two Maypole dancing activities on the Green. They have made an excellent job of mastering the dances. Thank you also to Mrs Penrose who gave up a lot of time teaching them.

Arts Week

You will be receiving a letter next week about our joint Arts week with the Junior school. During the week beginning 22nd May, both schools will be involved in creative activities, culminating in an exhibition w/c 6th June in the Junior school hall. The theme of this exhibition is ‘Fantasy’, so please try to come and have a look at all of the wonderful work on display!
