Election of Officers
The Chairman and Vice-Chair are elected annually and the period of office for
all governors is four years. The Governing Body meets at least once each
term. Minutes of the meetings are available from the Headteacher or Chair of
Governors and may be read by any interested parent.
Governors' Annual Meeting for
Parents
The statutory meeting is normally held in the Autumn Term after the
publication of the Annual Report to Parents.
Link Curriculum Areas
Each governor is attached to a curriculum area and liaises with the
curriculum co-ordinator on a regular basis during the academic year.
Governors' Committees
All governors are members of various committees which are involved in the
general management of the school. The membership of each committee is
available in the Headteacher's office. There are photographs of all Governors
on the entrance board.
